Credit Analyst Position

Job Description

Credit Analyst will uphold a tradition of honesty and integrity as you provide financial
analytics with existing and potential customers. We are looking for a dynamic, self-
motivated and results oriented credit analyst. This position is responsible for analyzing
credit, spreading financial statements/tax returns, calculating ratios and collateral aspects
of business and personal loans. The right individual promotes teamwork and understands
financial data such as cash flow, balance sheet and income statements. This position will
also assist with monitoring loans to ensure proper documentation, covenants, mitigate
risk and identify trends. This individual will work closely with loan officers, loan
administration and report directly to Senior Management. Growth within this position
will occur by developing and maintaining a working knowledge of all loan underwriting,
documentation, appraisals, compliance, internal bank reports and other related policies.
Additional duties may include:

  •  Monitoring and reporting of SBA Loans
  •  Coordination of Internal Loan Audit Processes
  • Monitoring Loan Exceptions, Borrowing Bases, and Interim Financial Reporting

Minimum Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and
problem-solving skills. Demonstrates attention to detail, organizational skills and can
manage multiple tasks. Has the ability to listen, follow directions and identify the needs
of customers and other team members. College Degree and previous banking experience
preferred.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Windows based software including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Additional
equipment and software utilized includes: bank software, telephone, fax, copier and 10
key calculator.

Benefit Package

generally does not negotiate salary/benefit figures as discussions typically occur later in
the recruiting process with qualified applicants. However, a base range for the position
would generally be $35,000-$50,000 annually. Applicants compensation considerations
will be based upon previous work, education, experience and/or certifications.
