As a reminder, NEVER give out sensitive account or personal information over the phone. Your bank will never ask for your account number, debit card information, or other sensitive information over the phone. When in doubt, hang up and call your local branch. Thank you!

Today we’ve had a number of customers reach out to us after receiving a strange text message that came from a long email address containing “pwcb” and a string of numbers. The body of the text message reads “Points West Community” and then contains a phone number. When the phone number is called it prompts you to press 1 reactivate your card. Then it asks for a card number. This is fraudulent activity – DO NOT call these numbers and DO NOT give your card number.
