We have opted in to a change made this morning to add security enhancement within online banking. This feature will now prompt our customer for a one-time passcode during initial enrollment, which will be delivered to the customer’s email address.

The one-time passcode must be entered correctly in order for the user to continue enrollment. Additionally, existing online banking users will be prompted for a one-time passcode whenever they try to access their profile within online banking going forward.

This is in addition to the SecureNow features already in place that challenge the user at login and send a one-time passcode via text or phone call. By doing this, we hope to improve the security of our customers’ accounts and reduce hackers attempts to access any accounts.

As always, we take our customers’ security seriously and we are happy to answer any questions you may have! Please see photos below to understand the security enhancement process.
