Scott was born in Greeley and raised in Johnstown. He has worked for Points West Community Bank since February, 2015. Scott is a 1993 graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in Finance. He has 29 years of experience in banking, all in Weld County. His experience comes in all aspects of banking, however he specializes in all things related to real estate and commercial lending. Scott has been involved in various community organizations, including Rotary, American Cancer Society, United Way of Weld County, Weld Recovers Fund, and Weld Community Foundation. In fact, he will be the Vice Chair of the Weld Community Foundation in the upcoming year. Scott is the husband to Amy and father to daughter, Landry and son, Aydan.
